Is there any way to add fonts to Onshape?

Alas no, not today.  But a few of us have been asking for it so I have faith it will be added. I believe there is an improvement request that can be voted on to nerf it up the list.

I have been contemplating the idea of tackling adding new fonts.

@ilya_baran , can you comment on the likelihood and relative priority of more fonts in Onshape ( I'm thinking an application that could import OpenType fonts is possible)

This is planned, but as far as I am aware, it is not yet on the short list.  Of course, our priorities could change tomorrow, so I can't make any guarantees.

But for example, a python script (or a JS -- perhaps using https://opentype.js.org/) that converts an input font into a custom feature (perhaps that plugs into your curved text code as a character rendering function) would be extremely cool.  Especially now that FS supports arbitrary BSpline curves, I think it could be reasonably efficient.
