Is it possible for a FeatureScript to create a sketch that can then be exported by the user to DXF?

I know how to create sketches in FS, so that they appear in the workspace when the Feature is complete.
However, when you select a feature like this, Onshape does not 'know' that the feature has produced sketches, so it is not possible to export them to DXF.
Is there a way to somehow tell Onshape that a feature has produced a sketch, so that the items can be exported to DXF ?
