MIT/University of Toronto research on cloud-based CAD
Hi Onshape users,
We are a research team from MIT and the University of Toronto, interested in studying evolution of design processes in cloud-based CAD. Being designers and engineers ourselves, we are excited to engage with the community to understand how this platform affects your work. We have a few hypotheses that we would like to investigate by analyzing a project involving multiple designers using cloud-based CAD.
Ideal project description:
1. Makes best use of the collaborative nature of the software: at least two people working on the project, with preference for three or more.
2. Willing to have a phone interview and share design and collaboration data.
We look forward to sharing our findings with our partners and the entire community.
