    not for compound surfaces, no. If it's a developable surface (one that bends but doesn't stretch, like paper), then sheet metal tools should be able to do it (here's an example). I'd use Rhino if I needed compound surface flattening, and Exact Flat is a tool i've never used, that might be even better suited, esp given that they have a plugin for Rhino.
