disappearing parts studio

IsoThermIsoTherm Member Posts: 66 PRO
Greetings,
I created a new parts studio in a document that has 8 other parts studios and two assemblies. I inserted the part I made in the new parts studio into my master assembly. The part shows up in the assembly but I can't find the parts studio that it came from. There is now a link error on the part name on the tree in the assembly and a message indicating that there is a changed version of the linked document. It can't find the document when I click on update.
I'm missing something here but I'm not sure what.
Thanks

@IsoTherm If you right click on the linked part, there should be an option to 'Open linked document' that will open up the document you are looking for.

I tried that and it was unable to find it. I isolated the part in the in the assembly and made a new part in context so that I could transfer the dimensions of the part-nonepart to a sketch and make a new one. Not sure what happened, but i worked around it, thanks.
