Hidden Line View in Sketching

brett_penzabrett_penza Member Posts: 9 EDU

One quick question I do have with Onshape.    Is there a quick way to get a "hidden lines" view on the models when sketching.

I was designing a part and needed to see the internal cuts to line up my new feature.

Thanks.

You can use the "Use" sketch tool to project components onto the current sketch.  If you have the hidden line button selected while you do that, the projected lines will be hidden.    Also, on the right hand side under the view cube, there's a menu which will allow you to change how you're looking at the model.  If you select "Shaded with Hidden Edges" you'll be able to see everything you need

Maybe put the Part Studio in 'Hidden Lines Visible' mode?
Is this what you are looking for?
