Better assembly limits

Onshape makes assemlies and mates super easy, but one feature that I would love to see implemented is the ability to add limits to mates like, for example: A slider mate that can only move until mate connecor a on the sliding part touches mate connector b on another part. I cannot even explain how useful this would be, and It would save so much time from taking measurements. It would also prevent assemblies from breaking when a part is updated, And the limit will automatically fit the new part.

This idea is pretty highly trafficked, and on our radar. Your idea for doing it based on the mate connectors rather than full part interference is interesting, it may be helpful if you were to also leave a comment with your idea on the improvement request along with your vote!
