Why are my drawing scales showing the inverse?

Tony_C_Tony_C_ Member Posts: 272 PRO
Lately when I make a drawing and place my view for the first time the default scale shows up inversed.

Instead of saying 1:10 it's 0.1:1 or 0.083:1 not 1:12.

There a reason for that?

OS support emailed me.  They were able to replicate it.

It was happening when you selected "no views" when starting the drawing. When using "four views" it worked correctly.

When I looked at this, it seems that the scale property just reports back what you set under Sheet Properties. If I put 2:1, it will say 2:1. If I say 1:0.5, it says 1:0.5. Edit your template and make sure the sheet scale is set how you want it. From then on any new drawing should look right.
