Is there any way to connect sketches to parts in parts studios so when that part is moved the sketch moves with it?

They will allow you to fix your sketch relative to a part without having to copy one of its edges. Constraints include dimensions, coincident, tangent, parallel, perpendicular, etc.5

Selecting the face of another part in a sketch has to be done as the first action. If you select the geometry then try to select the face it wont pick up the face. I've found this very useful with constraints and dimensions because faces are always stronger references than edges.
i.e. a fillet or chamfer can consume and edge, but its more difficult to consume a whole face.6
