Part properties to reflect quantity of meters, liters etc in Openbom

How do I insert e.g. a 120mm piece of sealing list, cut of a roll, in an assembly and having the Openbom quantity reflect not 1 piece, but length of 0,12 meter? I see no possibilities in part properties dialog box
The consumption in meters should also be reflected in Openbom inventory.

As you are a pro you can set custom "properties". Can open BOM see these?

If so I'd set a custom property of say "Consumable Length" possibly tied to the "measure distance" featurescript and then go from there.

I do not think this make the quantity change from a number (integer) to a length (0,12m) or a volume (0,4liter)

that feature can measure distance, length, angle, area and volume. the problem is that you can't pass a variable value to the part properties
