Why are you trying to move a part to the origin 'to make changes'?

philip_thomas Member, Moderator, Onshape Employees, Developers Posts: 1,381@mark_cunningham - I feel for you. I have seen you post several questions about this part.
I have some suggestions;
1) Please consider taking the self paced training (learn.onshape.com)
2) If you prefer a live instructor, please consider our instructor led training options.
3) This does not seem to be difficult geometry, we just dont know what you're tryinging to do! If you were able to post a document that contained your starting point (whatever data you have - an image or hand drawn sketch with dimensions) and some hand drawings of what you want, anyone here could bang it out in minutes. Asking us one small question after another, will take a very long time.
4) Below is a link to what i think you are asking (moving a part to the origin in a part studio). The command is transform/transform-by-mate-connector

Good luck!
