Stack and Linear dimensions in drawings.

To speed up the drawing process it would be nice to have the ability to place dimensions in a linear fashion by clicking on a starting point and then clicking on entities and the software would place dimensions in a linear fashion or a stack orientation. I am not sure if this is the correct terminology. Attached is an example of what I am trying to explain. 

This save time in placing dimensions without having to click on 2 points every time to add a dimension.

    I think what you're calling stack chain is called baseline dimensioning. And yes, that would be handy. Upvote for you!
