What is the quickest way to make this solid?

I wish to make a solid that has a elliptical base, and if vertical sliced, each slice will be an equilateral triangle whose base is on the ellipse. The elliptical base is shown in the picture as well as the bases of each triangle. What is the fastest method of making it happen?

Here's something I threw together for you:
https://cad.onshape.com/documents/76813e2ab0f5a132ca56970c/w/0ca613d63871964905593116/e/379e3f6923f7882625a55b45
Feel free to copy the document and change the 'length' and 'width' variables to whatever you'd like, but don't change the 'height' variable (it's driven by the knowledge that the altitude of an equilateral triangle is sqrt(3)/2 * sideLength).
Feel free to ask any questions about the design.
