hi,
i have designed this planetary gearing mechanism, in this the ring is fixed. the in put is sun gear and the out put is planet carrier. when i am trying to give mating the animation is looking intersected. so help me how to give mating b/w fixed ring gear and revolving planet gear

Your document is view only, so I can't copy and fix it. But you should be able to take care of it yourself pretty easily. You'll need to delete the fastened mates for each planet gear and replace it with a revolute mate. Then the correct starting position can be edited by rotating the mate connector for each planet gear as required.0

yes sir, actually i used ball bearings there for ball bearings i used fastened mate, but from bearing to planet i used revolute only. And another thing is while i am giving mating i am adjusting the gear teethes properly, even though it is shifting when it comes to animation

The only part that should be fixed/fastened is the outer ring. Every other part has to rotate relative to its neighbors. This is how I would organize the mates:
- Fixed outer ring
- Revolute mate on sun gear relative to outer ring
- Revolute mate on carrier relative to carrier
- 3X Revolute mate on planet gear relative to carrier
- Adjust the zero point of all the revolute mates by adjusting the X-axis alignment of the individual mate connectors. This might be more easily done if you add the mate connectors ahead of time. All the gears should mesh properly when all 5 revolute mates are set to 0deg.
- Now that you have a proper starting point, add all the gear relations.
Sun gear to carrier
1X planet gear to carrier (or sun gear)
2X planet gear to planet gear (just a 1:1 ratio to the planet gear that is driven by the sun/carrier)

Take a look at my link above. As I said, I adjusted the alignment of some of the mate connectors, starting with matching the planet gears to the outer ring, and then matching the sun gear to the planet gears.

i am not getting this one sir, i think in my system mate connectors are not working properly as because it for education purpose only. and here i am fixing carrier this time

Whatever works for you. You just have to adjust the relative alignment so the gears mesh. Whether that's by rotating the two gears or by rotating the carrier and a gear... it doesn't matter. As for the educational license, it also doesn't make a difference. Educational licenses don't have different modeling or assembly functionality.0

ok. but for me when i change the value for rotation about z axis only mates are changing, but gear is not rotating according to that value.0

Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. I can't see your screen, so I suggest you just open my file (linked above), copy the workspace, and inspect each mate and mate connector to see what was done. Good luck.0

It's OK sir, Now I edited that one properly. Previously I was creating explicit mate connectors and i was editing those. so that is why I was not getting proper results. now i made it. Thanks for your support for such a long time
