Round cover

Hi!
A friend is trying to make a round cover to a part. We made something not too bad with a loft, but it was painfull, and the result is not perfect:

Is there a better/easier way to do it?
Thanks,

I think it is bad usage.
Add can only be used to add to another surface.
I have a solution where I deleted the other face beforehand here, resulting in a shorter feature list.
I used 'add' when I filled the surface, making it merge with all. The feature then makes a part.

But I get a surface, and have to use the Enclose feature. But Enclose is tricky, and often don't want to work, depending on the spline defining the flat surface (if I move a point, it fails). So:
- how to get a part from Fill?
- how to get Enclose work fine?
and as you can see, the Enclose does not match well the spline...

Just make sure, when you delete the face, don't tick delete fillet faces because the fill feature fails if you do.
EDIT: With the Delete Face feature, I selected "leave open" in the drop-down list
EDIT 2: I also updated the example document above for both tabs (click on the text "here,")
