I have series of points created on a spread sheet that specify the profile of a cam.

How do I model this?

I have a script named RectToPolar which can create flat cam profile based on the sketch with the law of motion, but if we speak about an array of points as input you can easily create an FS which would make a closed 2d spline

And in addition to Konstantines awesome library of custom features, here is a super simple one that may help.
This is 3 lines long and takes a CSV file of x,y,z coordinates and makes a 3D spline from it.

Hi,

I tried to replace your CSV file but it won't draw a line through my points. Could you check why, please? The points are chosen randomly.

@Hannah_Scheu - I exported the txt file as CSV and it works just fine.

Hi thanks for your answer, I found out that the difference between an CSV UTF-8 BOM file and a CSV UTF-8 file is significant
