Sheet metal: adding features not perpendicular to the sheet of metal

It seems that sheet metal parts are not treated as a 3 dimensional part that is to be unwrapped after features have been added to it but rather than a 2d plane that for display purposes is extruded to a given thickness.
This causes a problem as I'm looking to make a hole in a sheet metal enclosure that has to have a certain angle and is not perpendicular to the sheet.
Example document of what's going wrong:

So the goal is to make the of the pipe fit exactly in the round sheet metal enclosure but it's not working as intended. Is there any way to make this happen?

If you apply the cut after the Finish sheet metal feature, you'll get the desired result which will not be reflected in flat pattern.
If you need an ability to unroll such non-orthogonal cuts, please make an improvement request.
