Bug: Variable does not work in an expression for extrude length

saladsamurai_saladsamurai_ Member Posts: 1 ✭✭
Expressions using variables work in sketches but not in features like extrusions it seems.

For example (#width/2 + 2) works as a sketch dimension but not for an extrude length.

The extrude length will however handle "single term" expressions.  For example:
#width
#width/2
2*#width

all will work, but #width + 2 will not.

Is this a known bug?

Thanks!

This is not a bug, it is a units mismatch.  #width is a length and 2 is a number, so they cannot be added.  What will work is #width / 2 + 2 in
