Can you add work orders to versions

For example, if you had 20 trailers built to version 1 and 15 customers built to version 2 and 100 built to version 3 and so on can they be tabled and searched somehow for warranty purposes. For instance, if we received a batch of bad airbags on certain orders and had to be recalled, how can this be attached to the version and or general arrangement drawings?
