    @dragon_chen_dragon - Thank you for your post.

    If the Step (or any) file contains the definitions of multiple parts (as in this example), then post-import there will be individual parts in the Part Studio.

    If the imported file contains surfaces, or errors that make it impossible for Onshape to sew the faces of a part back together to form a closed volume, then those surfaces will likewise be listed in the Part Studio.
