making the parts in the list would make the finding part quickly easier especially for people too lazy to label them

In both cases I don't think that it would be a nice option, but you can create a FeatureScript to rename all the parts.
Instead of this, I think that you should create Part Studios with less parts. That will increase your performance and it will be easy to sort, and find the parts that you want.
