Boolean Subtract fails to return valid part

Hello,
I have created a part from a rotation of a sketch that intersects another part. When I try to subtract the rotation from the other part, it doesn't work and I couldn't yet find out why.
It says that Boolean Subtract failed to return a valid body and marks some area red.
Any idea what I could do about this?
Thanks for any help

Hard to tell from the image. Could you post the doc URL?

Looks like you might have some degenerate points/knife edges. If possible, overbuild the tool bodies so they go past the target body instead of being line-to-line or face-to-face.
