Pop Up Ads? Really?

Getting this really annoying popup ad. Can I disable please?

    Pops up on every doc every time I open...irritating.

    Larry,

    First I want to apologize. You certainly should not be getting pop ups repeatedly. If you dismissed this pop up using the done button, it should not have presented itself again.  it was supposed to be very non intrusive.

    I understand and take your feedback on the advertising part of the equation. That was not our intent. We absolutely will not become some kind of advertising, annoying product. The intent was to make users aware of new tools and capabilities they have not yet tried. More of a whats new type of thing for FEA, Rendering, CAM etc.. 

    For example SIMSOLID has just recently released the Cloud stress analysis app. It is very innovative, and useful for many Onshape users.  And we have found many Onshape users are not aware of this. Even though they are expressing interest in the topic.  So it is an attempt (obviously imperfect) to address this.

    Functionality like stress analysis, rendering, CAM etc are found and accessed via App Store. I would welcome any suggestions on how to help make users aware of new things like this, without being considered an advertisement. Its a fine line. We do not want to try and sell you on them. Just make you aware of what is available.

    Yeah Joe, I know your company would never impose that sort of thing on its users and understand the fine line we all walk every day. Seems to be gone now. I will, unfortunately, over react to every ad I see that I didn't solicit as my entire day is filled with phone calls and marketing that I cannot seem to escape.

    Appreciate the reply and constant feedback from the OnShape staff and my confidence in your company is in no way shaken.

    I agree.  The pop up ad is ridiculous and it won’t go away!

    Just to verify. Are you still getting the pop up?  It should have been turned off last week.
