Merge a revolve with a curved face

Hi! I'm trying to make a pair of bicycle mounts for scaffold poles out of TPU.  Basically it needs to be a sleeve that goes over the pipe and has a protrusion from it that you can rest the frame of the bicycle in.  I've done this with a simple spline that I revolved over the surface of a hollow pipe, and then filleted the end faces.

Ideally, I'd like the end faces of the revolve to gradually blend into the face of the pipe, like it does in the other axis, rather than the fillets causing it to end in a 90 deg corner against the pipe surface.

Any ideas? I'm also wondering whether the spline is the right way to design the cradle or if it should be a bezier curve.

Here's what I have so far:

I haven't yet dimensioned or constrained anything, I will do that once I have figured out the general strategy.
