Please help me understand why my "enclose" doesn't work
In this document: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/36408c7b377cab39927a43c7/w/8152ee885a81f0f73e7b096b/e/613ef7aaa27430f3700442db
I have tried to define the curved top of a knob, by doing a spline sketch of a line, rotating it to define a surface, and then enclosing it and the face of the extrusion underneath to define the solid top of the knob.
However, the "enclose" step isn't happy and I don't really know why. Can you enclose from a surface, or do you have to thicken it first? I'm not quite sure what would happen if I thicken the curve.

To get the enclose to work, it needs to be a totally "enclosed" selection of faces or planes.
But you can simplify your workflow by revolving your shape as a solid:

Thanks - it was the adding of the two lines to make an enclosed shape in my sketch before I revolved it that I was missing, and why I couldn't do a solid rotate in the first place (which I tried).
