How do you slow down an animation? How to play multiple animations at once?

Im working on an RC Motorcycle, I've never worked with animations for objects. Just curious if there was a way to slow down animations, and if you could play multiple at once.

To animate something in Onshape you have to use mates within an assembly. Once the mate is set up, right click on it in the mate hierarchy and select animate. From there you can change the speed.

You can use the assembly Relation features to set how mates interact with each other whether it is a gear 1:1 or linear sliding.
When you are finished setting up your relations, right click on your main mate and animate it, all the others will move too.

And to slow it down, add Steps to the Animate mate dialog.
Im just confused as to animating still so that might be a part of my problem.
