I have created an escapement assembly here
I would like to animate/simulate this design to prove that it will work in the real world but I am unsure how to proceed. I think I need some sort of relation between the gear and the fork but I cant find anything online. Is there any way to do it?

This is a typical example of an intermitting movement and unfortunately this cannot be animated straight away in Onshape.
However, there is a workaround: animation with timelines and pointers.
This method is invented by @john_mcclary.
I recently published a demonstration and explanation of a simplified animation I did on one of my projects.
