How do I draw a line without ruining the entire sketch.
I have an entire sketch that getting ruined when extending the line.
First I started drawing from the point I want to connect. Like the image below and hit enter or . and enter dimentions
Then the entire sketch changes
Then I tried doing the same but first clicking outside of the sketch and attached it to the point I wanted and did the same. It still ruined the sketch.
Then I tried using the extend feature but it resulted in the same way. How does this even work? Are there any missing settings or tutorial I can learn and make it work.
I had to do many gymnastics to draw even a simple sketch like this aligned to that other sketch's corner.
Never had this issue in other CAD softwares, I am a casual user so this basic functionality not working as expected is frustrating.

You need to constrain your sketch. If you are a casual user perhaps you haven't used o therparametric CAD (like Solidworks,Inventor, or PTC Creo) before?
"Are there any missing settings or tutorial I can learn and make it work."
The learning center is here. All the tutorials are free and excellent. Start with the ones in the section "CAD Basics"
