Step Files Not Translating

Hi! I've tried importing a STEP file I downloaded from the GoBilda website (if you know it). When I open the document however, all it shows is an option to update or download the file. I've looked at other support posts regarding this topic, but the only solution I've seen proposed is clicking the house icon at the bottom left. Unfortunately, I've tried this and it doesn't work. The only tab that is shown there is the folder for CAD imports. I think the main problem is that the files aren't translating properly, as you can see in the image. I've tried importing it multiple times, but it fails to translate each time. Is there a way to make sure it is able to translate? I'm working on a Chromebook if that affects anything.

The only time that it works to import a zip file, is when the zip file has an assembly and part files inside it (and the assembly name matches the zip file name). In that case, Onshape can import and rebuild an assembly.
