Irregular part created using Spline

Hi,
I have created a part using spline. I have extruded the part, however I am not able to color the irregular part differently from the part is sits on. Hello. That element (as well as the other two) are not separate parts. This is because in the Extrude feature you used to create them you selected Add rather than New. This made them part of Torso. - Scotty
