Use the Ellipse tool and enter the dimensions in the boxes that appear after clicking to create the oval. Otherwise use the Dimension tool. - Scotty
If you need an oval (as opposed to an ellipse, for which you can use the ellipse tool), you may want to try the "Slot" tool. Based on a straight centerline, it will create an oval by dimensioned offset.
