Problem with Surface text Cut out function
Hi everyone,
I’m encountering an issue with the Surface Text feature in Onshape. Everything works fine when I create the text, but as soon as I try to use the Cut Out command, it doesn’t seem to function as expected.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I flipped the direction of blind extrude so it would be a cutout. This gave me an error. I noticed the selection said faces of sketch 6 which I deleted and then manually selected the face of sketch 6 and that seemed to fix the problem.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me! I apologize if I wasn’t clear earlier. The issue I’m encountering is that I can't get the text to become a cutout. But it seems to work for de dxf
Just create an extrude cut and pick the face of the text pieces.
Now I see my mistake! If i at first has a text heigth of 1 mm, I need too cut 1,5 mm to get a 0,5 mm cut in my surface
Thank you!
I'm not familiar with that fs, but it does not appear to be doing adds and cutouts at all as there is no "merge" function similar to the native tools..
