  Depending why you are flipping back and forth, you could open two windows of your assembly and set each one to the config you want.

  Or you could place your assembly into a new "dummy" assembly (you can set it to "show parts only" so that it doesn't appear in the BOM structure) with just a list of the combinations of configurations you need.

  @leon_tulling - Eric is correct about opening a 2nd browser tab with a different configuration showing in each. You can can even split the screen using (window key+right/left arrow key) then drag the other tab down into the empty space, that way both tabs are visible on the screen, side by side (if you don't like clicking tabs all the time) - this works better on larger monitors, obviously. And you're not limited to 2 tabs, open as many as needed. Just be aware they will time-out for inactivity, if they sit idle for a while.

  The option for the 2nd monitor works perfectly fine when working on 2 configurations 'at this moment'. But when I want to switch between configurations on a later moment, I have to set both configurations again.

  I like the option for the 'dummy' assembly best for this. Also keeps things clear and comprehensible. The only thing i'm bummed about, is why I didn't think of this myself… 😅

  Yes, the dummy assembly is quite useful for narrowing down sets of configurations.
  Also, you can do something similar with configurable parts by using a "derive" feature into a new part studio to create a sub-set of configurations.
