Variable table import from spreadsheet (Excel, Libre, etc.)

Onshape Team,

Would it be possible to add the ability to import a spreadsheet file (XLSX, CSV, etc.) into a Variable table? The tools in Excel, Libre, or Google Sheets allow for easier creation of multiple or similar rows. If import is not possible, could you support copying and pasting from a spreadsheet tool into the Variable table? This would speed the process of creating tables. I think others may benefit too from this ability. Thank you for your time and attention.

You can already copy and paste a table from Excel or Sheets and paste it into a variable table I believe. There may be a prerequisite of making sure there are the same or more rows first, I can't remember.

Also, you can use the Table custom feature to import a CSV to an Onshape table or variable table.

@maxwell_smart you can, however there is a small dance you have to do. Make sure there is one variable already in the studio, then without being inside the first cell, but with it still selected, paste your google sheet. Oops, looks like I put the variables on the wrong column, anyways, those are the steps.

Thank you!!! That is a very strange way to make that work but I'm so glad it does
