Issues with Transforming imported Model

zhaun_dagleyzhaun_dagley Member Posts: 2

Something I've been really struggling with is when importing a model getting the part oriented the way I want it once I import it, I've had some success if there are certain features on some parts that I can rotate about. I've looked up some of the tutorials on how to do it to no avail. Wondering if someone can hop on with me and get a quick lesson on how to do that. I have a model queued up to demo on.

Thank You

It depends on what you imported but "transform by mate connector" is the best option. You may need to create a some reference geometry (like a sketch to find the center, etc…) if there is no "obvious" reference point on your imported model.
