In Part Studio: How to place one part on the surface of another and merge them via extrusion?

Hello,

I have the following issue: In my Part Studio there are two parts (Part1 & Part2). I want to somehow place Part2 (right) on the surface of Part1 (left) without warping either one but I can't figure out how to do it. I've done the same thing in Blender to illustrate what I want to do:

In onshape it looks like this right now:

I'm aware that there are some ambiguities in the geometry that need to be clearly defined. Ideally I want to only set an exact rotation of Part2 around the x-axis (pointing right on the images) and move it to the left until its bottom surface-plane touches and is tangential to the surface of Part1. To close the remaining gap I'd extrude the flat face of Part2 up to Part1.

Is there any way to do something like this? I've tried projecting the sketch for Part2 onto Part1, but that distorts the dimensions and I can't generate a clearly defined volume from it.

Thanks a lot.
