Searching the public documents takes FOREVER

MDesignMDesign Member Posts: 698 ✭✭✭

It seems every time I've tried searching in public documents, It just sits there flashing the address in the address bar and eventually returns something but sometimes not. I usually have time to shoot the bull at the water cooler while the search is doing its thing. Is this common for others is it just on my end?

Hi @MDesign. Looking at the logs, I see all of your search requests responding very quickly. We are not seeing reports from our automated tests nor our other users about this. What are you searching for? Any errors in your browser console?

Hello @john_rousseau. thanks for reaching out. Just tried searching the word "cap" and this is what it does. Does the same when searching my own documents. How do I check for errors in browser console? Usually have to close that window to get back to being able to work in onshape.

Found the issue. Had an extension called clearURLs. no whitelist option so I removed it and it appears to have fixed the issue.
