Issue with controlling direction of asymmetric fillet

Dominic_HarrisonDominic_Harrison Member Posts: 2

Hi all,

Having some issues with the asymmetric fillet feature in part studio. Only one of the edges is reversed in its direction, and I can't seem to find a way to edit or control this.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are the rounded corners causing this issue? (Corners done in a previous fillet feature, not in a sketch)

Cheers, Dom

It might be the way the tangency is propagating. Try unchecking that option, and make sure you don't have the vertical edges selected.

If that doesn't solve it, you could consider modeling 1/2 or 1/4 of the part and mirroring after the fillet.

I might also play with the size of your corner fillets. If they are smaller or larger, does it behave?

Have you tried the full round fillet?
