Sheet metal flanges on parts with corner chamfers

I'm learning OnShape and the flange tool behaves differently than how Solidworks would generate it. Any reason why the flange tool basically deletes the chamfer in this situation? It's not that I can't think of a workaround for this using partial flanges and some extrusions, but seems like a lot of extra commands for something that should be more simple unless I'm missing something.

Try creating the chamfer with the corner break tool and then use the flange tool. I think you will get the results you want.

Use the sheet metal corner break tool, not chamfer.
It isn't as useful as I would like once the chamfer interacts with the bend, but you can also add a chamfer (corner break) and then a bend, depending on what you're trying to do.
The goal was to have the part generate flanges only on the selected line, so it should create a feature that looks like this. This is how Solidworks would handle it. Not sure why the flange feature basically ignores the chamfer feature

Ahhhh I see. Corner break is a sheet metal specific chamfer/filet. Works now, thank you!
