Trichter mit Belüftung

Hallo,
ich bin noch recht frisch was das Thema 3D Design angeht und stehe nun vor meiner ersten Herausforderung wo ich leider nicht mehr weiterkomme.
Ich möchte bei einem Trichter eine Belüftung hinzufügen/nachbauen.

Ich möchte gerne die Nachfolgende Belüftung nachbauen:

so one tip would be to split the part, build the vent (beleuftung) and then mirror at the end. It'll be easier and lighter that way.
I would build an extrude for the vent space, and then thicken the sides to create the walls and delete the space again later.
I used a variation of a custom feature called union trim, that's not very mature yet but did the trick in this case:
