Thread creator

I use the extra feature thread creator to make inner thread.
I needed a hole with m6 thread.
So i made a 6mm hole and than used the threadcreator. It gave me a pitch of 1 and in the left beam it said. M6 1mm
I printed the file and a normal boot M6 won't fit.
Is this a common problem should I make the hole bigger???

Bolts and fitting parts have something called "tolerance," additionally if you're using FDM printing, you'll have size variances, that will vary by nozzle, filament type, and printer. There's some experimentation required in making mating parts, with threads or without.
Yes the tool does not cut threads but adds them so you have to factor that in. Slightly annoying.
