Export option missing

I am a secondary teacher and have been using OnShape for a few years for students to create sketches/parts for exporting to a laser cutter as a dxf file.

This year, my students are using OnShape, but there does not seem to be any way to export sketch to a dxf file.

I have tried right-click on sketch to export, but the 'Export' option is missing from the drop down menu. I have also tried extruding the sketch to make a 3D part before right-clicking on the part. The export option is missing again.

Is there a setting that needs to be changed or another way for students to export the sketch that they have created?

Have you tried placing the sketch in a drawing and exporting as a .dxf?

Jed. I tried that too. The students don't seem to have any export options.
