how to map a feature across a curved surface

philip_altman580philip_altman580 Member Posts: 2

I would like to add the small dots to the curved surface of the "blue" bottle as in the purple "bottle" picture. Using "Wrap" does not seem to work. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/fe83c8cb1fbab31210b6bae7/w/cfd1115891e59efd946cc994/e/ed8029a71109642702faec35?renderMode=0&uiState=6813c639ddcf9a7afd799f2b

Aw man I missed this question when it came through, but my Attractor Pattern custom feature is made for things like this. You can do even more subtle things with it like vary the dot sizes in the second image. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/0d8214dff6ba680670834ab9/w/abaa866d5c6432feb2f1a81a/e/730b51890669ef266172535a
