How do I control my 3d printer from my phone

So I have a Neptune 3 pro 3d printer and wanted to be able to control and monitor from my I phone. However I noticed that the instructions don't mention how to do this and I don't really want to purchase a camera for it, I just want to control it and see my progress. Is there anything that does this?

In case you have a raspberry pi lying around, octoprint and octoapp (phone) are a nice solution

You could probably get away with a pi zero for about £15. Check out tutorials first.

The manufacturer of the 3D printer may have an app?

Ye but I don't have one of those and I don't really want to spend a lot of money
Unfortunately no, ELEGOO doesn't have anything like that
Probably not without a Pi. I've done the upgrade from a stock Ender 3 to Klipper + Mainsail + Octoprint (which is what you're asking for); it's crazy how much that improved the experience. Doing away with transferring files via SD card alone cut out so much pain.

Unfortunately I need a USB-A port to connect to my printer, what else would be best.
