How to make a "shadow" behind a structure?

martin_olesenmartin_olesen Member Posts: 22 ✭✭

Hello forum
I have made a "lamp" that cast its light on a surface from an angle, and in the "light" path the there is a round pole tube.
I would like to have a a shadow all behind the round pole tube where there are no "light", due to the pole is shadowing from the light source.
Is it possible?
Here is the link to the small project.

I used an in-context edit and the "intersect" option to extrude the area behind the pole.
