Can we map a keyboard shortcut to Find Instance in List?

Coming from SolidWorks, it can be nice to see the exact part in the list of an assembly based on selection. It would be faster if this wasn't restricted to a RMB click and selection from drop down menu.

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do.
You can do a lot of useful tricks with the filter in the instance list.

I agree that keyboard short cuts should be more flexible to do all kinds of things.
