Sleeve for a radio

Hi,
Been trying to make a protective sleeve for a radio with knobs and buttons. I can't figure this out but can't be the only one wanting something easy to just slap on. My radio has been scanned so it's a mesh and i feel many tools fail due to it being a mesh? Maybe i am wrong. Searched everywhere for answers but i only find incredibly complex guides which aren't that good in the end anyway. If someone has a script for this i'd be willing to pay. /Tobias

Is the radio a really curvy shape or mostly like a box? If it's a fairly simple shape your probably as well just measuring it and using the dimensions to guide your design.
A link to a public copy of your document always helps.
How are you making your sleeve?
