Multi-Part Part Studios / Exercise: Tail Light

I am trying to create eight holes (step 6), but I'm having an error saying that some hole directions are not perpendicular to selected inputs. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I have attached a photo of the error at the bottom of this post.

    Kind of hard to see, but you have the top of the part selected as the "start plane." The plane needs to be perpendicular to the hole direction, like the back plane (second image).
