2 parts connected even though I selected New for the second one

Hello,

Even though I extracted both the part Schiene and the part Gleiter as 2 separate parts (New) in the Part Studio 2, they are combined into a single part. Why is that?

How can I attach the pen holder (which I copied from Part Studio 7 using Derived) to Gleiter?
The pen holder needs to be adjusted. Do I need to do this in the Part Studio from which I copied it and where it was designed?

Kind regards,
ProApe

It looks like Extrude 5 is merging your parts.

How may it be because I have extruded both separately?
