Lofting 3-Point skArc Produces Pointed Tent

asher_haigasher_haig Member Posts: 19

Could someone please help me understand what's going on with this loft example?

I'm guessing that the answer comes down to: needs guides. If so, what is the most effective approach here? Also, why isn't the curve in the profile sufficient?

If it needs guides, does the curve require more than 3 points in order to utilize them?

Thanks

Are you sure this is not just related to graphics display (tessellation)? Can you try using high quality mode?

Can you share a link to the document for closer inspection? Why so many profiles?

Schematics so that I have all the different possible location defined. They don't all have to be used, particularly for the loft. But what does that have to do with the question? The issue applies to lofting between any two of them.

Without knowing the design intent the question comes from a place knowing that too many profiles for a single loft can create challenges. nothing more. It appeared you were trying to loft the whole guitar neck using all those profiles. It wasn't (isn't) clear what lofts your having and issue with.
